About this site

This site offers free calculators for everyday money questions: what a loan really costs, how savings grow, what inflation does to your money, and, for Nigeria, how much tax you pay.

How the calculators work

General calculators use standard loan, interest and inflation maths and work in any currency. Nigeria tax results use the personal income tax bands in the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, effective January 2026. Inflation defaults for Nigeria use the latest figure published by the National Bureau of Statistics, and you can change it.

Keeping figures current

Tax rules and inflation figures change. We update rates when official figures are published, and each page shows when it was last updated. If you spot a figure that looks wrong, please tell us on the contact page.

What this site is not

These tools give estimates. They are not financial, tax or legal advice, and they do not know your lender's exact terms or your employer's payroll rules. Always confirm important decisions with a qualified professional or the relevant authority.

How the site is funded

The calculators are free. We may earn a commission if you use some links on the site to open an account or take a product, and we may show adverts. This never changes the numbers in the calculators.

Estimates only. These calculators give a guide and are not financial, tax or legal advice. Tax figures use the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 rates effective January 2026. Loan and savings results depend on your lender's or provider's exact terms. Check details with the lender, your employer, a qualified adviser or the relevant authority before you decide.
